When we go through puberty we have to adapt to a changing body, feelings and of course the practicalities of dealing with all the effects that our hormones have on our body. By the time we get to the menopause, we’ve forgotten what all that change stuff was about and quite frankly we’re at an age when we’ve got used to how it all works now.
The Perimenopause (the bit before the actual menopause where we start to experience those changes) usually starts from the age of 40 onwards although for some women it can come much earlier. There may be a family history of late or early menopause but on average, most women start to experience some changes once they reach their 40’s.
When we think of the menopause, most people in general are aware of hot flushes but there is so much more to it than that and this is why I wanted to create a course where women who were experiencing those symptoms could find help and support with like-minded women.
So what’s included?
Over the course of the 6 weeks, we’ll look at the the following key topics:
- Hot flushes and night sweats
- Anxiety and panic attacks
- Low mood
- Weight gain
Each week there’ll be a video introducing the module and then a mixture of audio downloads, PDF worksheets and a lovely relaxation session for you to enjoy to help make those positive changes in how you want to feel.
So how does it work?
Each week you’ll receive the content for the next module via email with some live videos and support within the Facebook group. You can work through it at your own pace and of course, some modules may mean more to you than others so if the module is covering something that isn’t as much of a problem, I’ll make sure I cover other topics within the group so that there’s still plenty of help and support out there for you.
So what does it cost?
The course is £97 for all 6 modules and includes all your audio recordings, worksheets and of course 6 lovely relaxation sessions as well as ongoing support throughout the course in our Facebook group.
Where do I sign up?
I’ll be announcing dates for the start of the course soon and I’ll be telling you how you can sign up and join us. Menopause is an inevitable part of any woman’s life, but struggling with it doesn’t have to be.
